67 Catalyst System. I just had a new cat installed, could it be an o2 sensor? or maybee a leak somewhere? My stock primary 02 sensor stripped so it couldn't go in my new header, so we found a jdm o2 sensor... could this be whats throwing the code?

i reset the ecu, and it went away... so far. Ill keep updating if it comes back on

jk, it could be that one of the sensors are bad? i don't think that a JDM one would make it throw the code, they are all pretty much the same.

the cel came on again, its throwing the same code after about 200kms.. i got a new primary o2 as well.. any ideas?

its possible the secondary o2 sensor is bad.

is the converter you replaced an oem one or an aftermarket "high flow" one?

its a 2.5" magnaflow cat.. its not high flow though

the secondary o2 sensor it only used to measure the efficiency of the cat. if the cat is new like you say and it's the proper one for the car even though its aftermarket there is a chance the secondary o2 is gone.......but then again there is also a chance the cat is no good either....

pick one.......or both and try change it.....

It's you cat. Any car that doesn't filter as efficiently as the stock one will throw a code since your OBD2. You can try changing your secondary O2 sensor, but I doubt it's gonna fix your problem.

i just went for an etest today and it failed. Here are the results

this is the drive test
ASM 2525
HCppm limit 68 Reading 84 -FAIL
CO% limit 0.38 Reading 0.32 -PASS
NOppm limit 526 Reading 1104 -FAIL

i reset the cel about two times already and it throws the same code 67. Brand new cat faulty?
