Default Car wont turn over, it will only click.

HI,

I have a 95 teg, and when i push the clutch pedal down to start the car in the begining to start, it just clicks and doesnt start. I have to realse/push the clutch a few tims and then it starts right up. Do you guys think that its a sensor that senses the clutch pedal is down so it can start?

where would that sensor, or problem be located?

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks Guys.

The "sensor" you're talking about is the clutch switch. If you can stick your head up under the dash, you should be able to see it by the clutch pedal linkage. Swap it out for a good one (or just bypass it altogether).....
