i have a b18b on boost and lately the car been sputtering until the turbo spools,and the car is running really rich!!, i changed the plug wires to MSD 8.5mm, changed the spark plugs, changed the air flter, but still the car runs like crap, i cant seem to figure out why its running like this? Any help is appriciated

sounds like it could be a bad tune.
your ecu tune can have a lot to do with it running rich like that. i remember when we had a cavalier... after we dropped a gtp sc into it, it ran soo rich that fuel dripped from the tailpipe.... not cool lol

 

yeah my car is shooting flames sometimes too, this is probably a tune issue

 

b18b on boost doesn't many people help you figure out whats wrong with it lol.

should get into more detail with the actual setup.
who tuned it? or you just slap a chip in it and run a basic tune?

 

It was tuned by the previous owner at maxwell, and the setup is garret t3/t4,stock internals, turbo xs BOV,Turbo xs front mount,turbo smart manual boost controller,

 

I dunno if this will help but have you tried resetting your ECU??
