Default Car died on the hwy! No idea why.

I got a 94 LS Auto integra.

I was driving along the highway and is fine and all of a sudden the check engine light came on, all lights shut off and the car died. I had to pull over to the shoulder to try to and start it and nothing at first then i eventually got it started but once I gave it gas and got over about 40 Km/h it died again. This happened a month or so ago and all was fine since then til this past weekend. Same thing happened, check engine light came on and car died right after. Right now there is no check engine light or anything on the cluster.
Luckily enough I wasn't too far from home and was able to get it home by driving it gently.
I dont know what could be the issue. I know it's not the alternator cause the lights don't dim or anything and no indicators on the cluster.
Fuel pump or fuel rail maybe?
I have a viper remote start/alarm combo, could the remote start be involved somehow? I don't even know where to begin to troubleshoot since it's an intermittent problem.
I think I remember that on an OBD1 I can check the flashing light on the ECU thats behind the passenger side kick panel for codes even if the check engine light isn't on in the cluster?

is that buzzing noise upfront near the cluster/steering column area the priming of the fuel pump? Cause i don't hear a buzzing noise anymore.
Any input you guys can give would be great cause I really dont wanna be strained in the middle of no where .

buzzing behind you underneath your rear seat is the fuel pump priming, you can even check when u turn the key to the ACC position and look underneath your car and ull hear it

ye even if engine light isnt on the code is saved in the ecu so any codes saved you can check it out still.

OK sweet, that is what I was hoping. I can do the paper clip trick to find out what code it is right? unless anyone has an OBD1 reader I can borrow

Also, the buzzing noise I was asking about is the noise I used to hear from the cluster/sterring column area, not from the back seat. Since its upfront I guess its the main fuel relay then?

Is the main fuel relay a dealer only item? Or can I get it somewhere else?

I tried looking on www.acuraautomotiveparts.org for a part number for the main fuel relay but I can't seem to find it, can someone help me out please

thats what I thought too but my buddies integra makes that buzzing noise and mine used too.

I am going to try to source out a new relay and fuel pump and see what happens and check what engine code is being thrown.

Main Fuel Relay doesn't buzz,it clicks 3 times, once for power, then once the engine light goes out ,the third is once the pump is primed...don't buy a MFR from anyone other then the dealer people. I did got screwed 2 times..both were desoldered-resoldered tricks and brought back from a previous buyer and they we're never checked...besides they are cheaper from the dealer 45 bucks last time I bought 1 was last summer

PS .I've yet to see a Honda Fuel Pump Die!!!

Pull the code, it might be something silly though that won't tell you anything, but its worth a shot.

Personally, I would hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the car and drive around untill this happened again and as soon as it would happen I would check FP.
