Default boost question

Hey guys im just in the process of rebuilding my ls but my question is i have a turbo kit that was on the car that i wish to put back on...now for me to drive it without boosting is that possible? like before i get a tune is there any way that the turbo could not produce pressure? might be a dumb question but im not sure thanks in advance!

I don't think that is possible (as far as I know), better off removing it if possible, or just drive slow.

1) Control your throttle, stay in vacuum
2) Remove charge piping between turbo and throttle body
3) Rig wastegate to remain open
4) Temporarily upload ECU with basemap

There's plenty to do outside my room but I choose not to!

I was going to say the same thing along those lines. Just remove the piping that goes to the turbo, and then just put on a normal intake for the time being.
