Default Best Mufflers

i saw a muffler that i liked in a "crappy tire" catalog. Its a Ractive Black chrome round body muffler with silencer it looked iight, it cost $200. i was wondering if i should pick it up or is their a better muffler i can get for 200 or less??

P.S. where is a better place to find a decent muffler in or around Markham??

that muffler will sound loud but the looks of it. when i was looking for a muffler on my old car ractives were somethign i was told to look out for. Supposedly the metal fibers inside the muffler begin to singe, which makes the muffler louder with time. Hence, the fart cannon noise.

I just recently got an Apexi World Sport off 8500RPM. The thing looks and sounds mint. A little throatier than stock, but not loud by any means.

I love the sound of my spoon N1, so deep and clean..
For under 200$ you could pick up a universial apex'i N1 and get a shop to weld it on for you. If you like magnaflow I have one in my basement with custom underaxle b-pipe with cat I would let go for cheap, 100$

Apex'i World Sport or go home baby

I would stay away from those canister style mufflers as they tend to be loud. If you do a custom system make sure you get a resonator or two or else its gonna be hella loud.

i'd say if you can get a Greddy for $200 then go for it, same for an apex-i N1, but for $200 go with magnaflow, i had that on my car at first and it sounded great with stock piping.
