Default Best Header for undre $500??

What's your guys input on this? I know trenell just got a rage one but i'm not lookin to spend that much $$. It will be on a b16 head, and i know i'll probably have to notch my front crossmember, oh well ---- happens u gotta do what you gotta do.

I've heard good things about the Megan Racing headers, so bang for your buck what do you reccomend?

All headers under $500 are crap. Even my DC JDM 4-1 costed me $620 brand new and that's the next best bang for the buck header.

Might as well stick with stock.

Never new JASMA was a brand, I always thought it was the Japanese sport muffler association? Could it have possibly been a JDM honda header? If so, great price.

I've seen dynos from the pacesetter and having power loss compared to the stock.

you are correct it is just a certification like Carb. I just meant it was Jasma approved and i think it was a 4-1 header.

You can get something like 70% of the power of an aftermarket header by moosifying your stock header. Instructions to do it are on the HADAmotorsport.com website in the technical section. It involves cutting your stock header before the collector and putting on a larger collector. Cost is only 50 bucks from most muffler shops.

is that dyno on a gsr?
Those are some pretty nice gains from just a header and muffler.
Kinda weird how the power starts dropping off at 7000rpms though.

I got my Vibrant J-spec 4-2-1 w/2.5" collector for $400 brand new and its much nicer (makes more power...dyno proven) than the DC i was using before.
I hear the edelbrock with 2.5" collector mod is a really good header for the price as well.
I wanna try the Rage myself, b/c for the price its a really really good header, up there with the $1200US custom made headers.

I agree with John...you shouldn't crap out on a header Andrew especially since you're doing all the work yourself!

I find the Vibrant header is still expensive. I would much rather put the extra money into a Rage header.
