Default B20 swap

For all you guys out there who have used a stock b20 in your tegs (DC2). Did you guys use the b20 ecu or your stock ecu? Can you use your stock ecu?

stock LS ecu if you plan to keep it non-vtec.

you can use a civic SOHC VTEC P28 chipped ECU if you plan to do a B20/vtec setup.

It's actually not for me. But my friends mechanic said that his injectors are clogged cause he was using the wrong ecu. He was using his rs/ls ecu.

use the b20 ECU or have his stock ECU chipped with a b20 base map. b20 and LS have different maps.

stock LS ecu will make a B20 run leaner.....not enough to melt anything but it's deffinatly not "too much fuel"

^ That's what I thought. Now I'm just wondering what's wrong with his car. The car was driving fine, then he pulled into his driveway then the car just died. He then tried to start it but nothing. It was chocking but not starting. Can this possibly be the starter relay?

does it crank? if no then it's the starter/battery/cable connections.....one or all of those 3.

if it cranks you need to check for spark. ignitors are common for burning out which will cause a no start.
