Default B18c1

So I have put up my B18C1 Vtec GSR for sale on Kijiji, Usedottawa e.c.t. for $3500 and still have had no one interested in it to buy it. Im just thinking that maybe this is too expensive. I thought that it would be around this price because I have seen importers importing these and selling them in Ottawa for $2700 and that is stock. My engine has a ported head and performance valaves and it was just rebuilt. I just need to sell this because I bought it to fix up and sell and use that money for upgrades on my Integra. Any thoughts of what these are worth or any ideas of what I should put this up for?

How many KM's on it? I doubt you'd get more then 2500$ for it based on what you've said.

It doesn't matter, if it has 300k on it. I'd rather buy one from Japan that has 60000KM or less for 3k with a tranny. lol.

Unfortunately the problem with selling things like engines and so on , is that alot of people dont like buying other peoples work. Like, yea they know what has been done from what you've told them the thing is that they wouldnt really wanna spend that amount of money.

It may be kinda overpriced, but then again youre counting all the work done on it. Its just the way it is man

The price is a little high but if it is mint as you say and it has been fully rebuilt to run as a new motor then i think you can get 2000-2500 for it since people end up doing what you have already accomplished so thats a plus. But as you always gotta bring the price up as for you know people will try to bring it down.

Also would help if you had proof of parts being in there. I can grab a motor, clean it up and say I got a lot of money in it. Proof is everything.
Also regardless how much it cost to build it, you never get your money back. Around 2000$ is reasonable.

Btw, you said it was never in a car therefore never started. If I was a buyer, I would be
A. Wondering why you selling it without even using it.
B. Will anything break or will it even start up without throwing a rod or damaging other parts.
But that's just how I see it.
