ey guys. just getting my swap done and my old distrbutor is non-vtec- So im usiing the guts out of the b17 a1 distributor to wire up. My car is non vtec. and i put in a b17a1 gsr motor in. My friend doin the swap sed he has to take the guts out of the distributor and wire it all up so it can run on properly with vtec.. Im wondering if anyone has a diagram perhaps concluding how to wire up the distributor. ok thanks . that why I couldn't make the integra meet my car isn't ready.

 

make sure when u remove the guts from the old distributor you put them in the new distributor in the exact same way, its pretty basic a couple wires attach to the ignitor and a few to the coil. if not try to find a helms manual the pics and instructions are in there. But, try what i said its basic, they'll both look exactly the same.

the only thing that'll be different is the harness for vtec

You could just modify the non-vtec distributor to fit onto the motor.
