Default Auto To Manual Classic question

Hey guys, im new to the forum. Ive looked online to see how hard this conversion would be. Ive mostly dealt with american cars and older cars esp. that are easy to convert. I see time and time again for integra's it says itll cost alot of money. So some q's for the pro's:

Can the entire engine/ tranny/axles from a sedan fit in a coupe? (i may be able to get my hands ona sedan).

Anyone that has actually done the swap how much did it cost you?

The only reason why i am asking this is b/c i want to trade my 92 s10 short bed pickup (for sale on kijiji) for a teg. Instead of working on another american car i felt like doing up an import. But I have not come across anyone with manual teg's that are willing to trade, but some NIce auto's.

Anyone on this forum wanting to trade for a teg that needs work even (94-00) email me at simerjot@hotmail.com.

But that is why i am asking, if i trade for a auto, i have some cash for a swap... since i cannot find any manuals.

All the drive line is the same in the the 94-01 Integras, it does not matter if it's from a 2 door or a 4 door, the everything is the same. It is a lot of work, but if your willing to do it, go for it, you will enjoy it. If you were looking as for price to buy just the parts, your most likely looking between $800-$1200, and that's for used parts. If you were to buy most of the parts brand new from the dealer, your looking over $2000, and that would be wth a used transmission (which I have for sale right now) but the clutch slave is $110, the flywheel is $436, the clutch kit is $359, drive shafts are $440 each. You'd be better off getting a parts car to get everything from.

its really easy to do a manual conversion.

all you need it shift linkages, clutch line, clutch master cylinder, tranny frame bracket.

(those are the things that dont usually come with a complete swap)

once you pull the entire motor and tranny out the above mentioned will have to be added into the swap thats it. and you need to patch up the hole made under the floor where the shifter will sit due to it being bigger. and weld in a manual frame bracket on the tranny side or get a conversion mount bracket.

everything else is straight forward.

doing a manual swap while doing a complete swap is easier and cheaper. or else you would need tons more parts ie. complete clutch kit, slave cylinders etc...

manual conversion parts without tranny is about 500 bucks including clutch kit.
(clutch kit is around 200 at canadian tire)(slave and master is about 150 from an aftermarket supplier, linkages 100) the rest you can salvage from a wrecker that has a civic or integra which are random and small things ie. clutch line etc..)
