I adjust my coilovers up and down every winter/summer and don't align ----. If you lower your car conservatively you should have no problems.

However, if you plan on really slamming the car down, that is when you will get camber issues and you can kiss your tires goodbye.

I align my car everytime I put gas in it, since that changes the ride height too.

Install the coilovers, get an alignment at desired lower height. If you raise it it moves out of alignment a bit, but there is no need for an alignment.

technically you should have it aligned every time you change the suspension ride hight. but most people don't unless it pulls to once side or something.

you would be amazed how much 1/8" up or down can affect toe on the car.

you can get away without doing one but it's recommended you do unless you like to replace tires often.

an alignment is to keep your wheels straight and plum to prevent premature tire wear and to keep the car driving straight. the more tire you have on the ground the more traction you have. find a height you like and get it aligned. if you wanna toss on a camber kit go for it but once you adjust the height for winter, you're gonna have to get it aligned again.
