I have a compustar 2 way pager that I had for around 2 years. When i press the button to lock and unlock is makes a ''woot woot" noise. Now is does not make the noise anymore. What would it be? The battery for the car?

That is my remote on the left side(The red remote)

 

It sais for "chirp mode" On/Off press I+II and hold for 1/2 second. Is that correct? Will that make my car make noise when i lock/unlock my car?

 

is it in valet mode? look at your led.

 

Yes, pressing button 1 & 2 together once will Mute/Unmute the siren. It is possible that you pressed this by accident and that is why the noise stopped.

Do you see the symbol of a horn (siren) on you display? see if this changing when preforming the above step.

If that doesn't work, it could be a bad siren or the unit might be in valet (zzzzzzzz)mode. Do your parking lights or remote start still work?

My parking lights still work when I unlock/lock the car. I do not have remote start installed.
