Hey guys my dad has a 1996 toyota camry which had its air bags poped. Now the thing is i've bought the drivers side air bag but i dunno if its safe to put it in. Some one told me that as soon as I put in the new air bag its gonna pop aswell. Does anyone know what i should do.
And my dads camry has beige interior and the air bag i bought is grey I also wanna know if I can get it painted or wraped to make it match the rest on the interior.
Give me some opinions on what I should do because my dad is trying to sell his car but the funny thing is that the car has never been in an accident and the air bags just poped while the car was parked in my driveway. So my dad would tell the buyer about the air bags but he doesn't want to sell the car the way it is right now as he won't be able to sell the car for a good price.

dont think youll be able to paint it the same color as the OE toyota color....when installing the air bag..make sure that th battery is disconnected and then start...i wouldnt try to install the air bag your self....the airbag is attached to the spiral cable with a male and female connector..should be straight forwar...for too hard to do but i have never heard of an airbag goin off on its own!..just be sure to be causious
