after market throttle body
does it matter if the after market throttle body doesnt have an opening for the fast idle valve? i want to get a omni power T/B but they dont have the opening for the fast idle valve. omni power said it fine, it this true?

Yes, its fine. I believe Obd 0 b-series throttle bodies didn't have fitv either. My tb doesn't have it and its fine, not a biggie. Just loop the coolant line for where its in/out for fitv and you're set.

Just FYI, not to argue with these guys, but I have a 68mm Skunk2 without it and on days like today if my car has been sitting out in the cold for a while, or any night when the temp drops below -10 over night, my car won't start in the morning and STAY running unless I stay on the throttle for a minute or two. Then it will idle fine. This sucks because I have a remote starter. I had my mechanic raise my idle a touch to 1000rpm at warm idle. But now I get that idle bounce/rev/hunt thing occassionally when I stop at a light for a few moments - usually settles down before the light changes.
