Default ABS help

Hey guys,

So i think my ABS is screwed up and i was looking for some imput on the matter. Firstly my car is a 94 LS. When the car starts the first 5 minutes of driving everytime i brake i hear a knocking noise coming from brake pedal. The speed of the knocking depends on how fast im going. The knocking slows down as the car slows down. And i can feel every knock on the pedal like its pushing back at my foot. After about 5 minutes the ABS light comes on, and i read in my manual that means i no longer have ABS but just regular braking, and the knocking goes away. The car still stops okay despite all this, its just annoying as hell. Any ideas on what this could be/input on the matter?

Yeah that's the ABS acting up on you. You need to scan the car and check out what the ABS code is. It could simply be a sensor that's gone, or it could be a ABS unit it's self.

The sensor and drive shaft are 2 different things, so which one is it that you need?

sorry, hard to explain since i dont know much about ABS or drive shafts for that matter, but the mechanic showed me the part that was cracked and i pointed to it on the pic. Its the circle thing on the drive shaft with the teeth and theres a tooth missing from it.. does that make sense?

Ok so that would be the drive shaft. I have a used one that I'm selling right now with half shaft for $50.
