Hey Guys,

I have an intermittent problem where some times the car will not accelerate at all. Example, on 401 slow for traffic, go to speed up and revs just drop.. I can hear the engine bogging but revs keep dropping. then 3 seconds later back to normal.
Just changed the fuel pump, no change. Don't suspect the distributor as car never dies. Not clutch as revs drop with gas.
Any other ideas?

99 GSR, 230k, 5 speed.

 

your fuel pump maybe getting weak and is not giving enough fuel. Also check your intake hose that goes to the throttle body, it may have a little rip in it. I had that problem with my old rio and the hose was a little crack
