3rd brake light install question
OK, i shaved my rear spoiler and my third brake light was attached so i picked up a stock 3rd brake light from a teg at the wreckers for 10 bucks, i bought some two sided tape to attach it to the back window but it didnt hold... it wasnt 3m tape. Usually 3m is the stuff so i dont know if i should try to hunt that stuff down or if there is another way of doin it?????? anyone do this before?, furthermore has anyone been harrassed for having no third brake light? i mostly want it cause i've been rear ended twice before and i dont think my bumper can handle anymore repairs.
any info is appreciated

crazy glue?
just make sure you wipe the surface with alcohol so you get a clean surface for proper adhesion. you might want replace the bulbs with led bulbs so you don't have to worry about replacing them as they never burn out.
another alternative is to take the led strip out of your oem spoiler and mount it onto rear hatch trim that covers the lower part of the hatch. that would look ill.
good call on retrofitting a 3rd brake light. you never know if your insurance company will deny a claim in the event of a rear end collision because you removed it. (knock on wood)
**edit: or you can use the link that HKJ provided**

i've read through that article but could some please tell me what they are talkin about when they say this?
"Then, use window glass or vinyl glass to attach the brake light to your glass or to the vinyl, otherwise it will bob up and down and make a lot of noise and fall out at every bump."
what the heck is window glass or vinyl glass?

i think they mean window, or vinyl adhesive. i sent you the link to page 2 of the tech article, so you missed the section where they list the parts you'll be needing.
go get 'em cowboy.
Stuff needed:
Flathead screwdriver (smaller tip the better)
Wire cutters
Two wires about 15" long each. (different colors preferred).
Electrical tape
Window adhesive or vinyl adhesive
High mount (third) brake light
