1999GS Hatch Actuator
Hello there. I'm new to this forum, but not to integras or integra forums. As I am from the Toronto area and always happy to make new friends I thought I'd join you all here.
Quick run down of the problem. Failed actuators on the hatch is not an uncommon problem. In my case, it appeard to be the actual arm mechanism in the hatch itself that was the problem. Sure enough when I pulled it apart the arm was so rusted that it was siezed in place along with the rubber gasket. So I cleaned that up, sanded it and painted it and Bingo! arm moves fine again. Except the hatch still doesn't open. Apparently the damn arm was just a decoy and the actuator is also pooched. So heres my question:
Anyone know the part number for the actuator motor? Or better yet, the price too?
Cheers

I know from honda/acura, employee cost on the actuator is just under $100, as I just had my g/f look it up for me (she works for Honda) I would say go to a junk yard and try to fine one that works before getting a new one.

Just take it out of the trunk. It's only 2 bolt, and use some oil to free it up, I just did that with mine, and it works like new again. It only took me like 5 minutes/
