Default **help plz** clutch gone????

Guys,
another desparate help...

Lately i notice my clucth pedal has been lower then norm. this morning i started to go to work and when i started the car the clutch is like right to the floor. it only gives me like 2 inches to press before it hits the ground. i started to move like a couple of blocks and when i hit the lights full stop it was hard for me to engage it into gears. i finally got it into 3rd and able to put it into 1st but still the pedal was really low. is this a clutch gone or.....could it be tranny? im hoping clutch that would be the least cost of the 2. any ideas ...if it is clutch any idea of cost to fix?

also anyone know where in sauga that can do this cheap....the car is a 94 integra and its getting old...so if fixing it is alot..i have to let my baby go...

help please!!!

Man, that has got to be the worst spelling of hydraulic I've ever seen. lol...

Agreed though. Check the clutch master fluid level and go from there.

OMFFFFFG...i just wasted 25 bucks. so i take to a near by shop (scared to go furthur) and they took a look at it and said that the master cylinder is leaking??? it would cost 165 to fix but they are out of stock. so he said what he can do is top up the cluth fluid for the time being. i think that is exactly what you guys are saying...geezh waste my 25 bucks...

so what should i go now. for a car that i'm 70% thinking of selling

should i fix? is there a cheaper way out..keep driving and toping up the fluid or go and fix the damn thing....is that master clucth cylinder cheap at the wreckers?

everything is money....fukkkk

Its pretty easy to change the clutch master. You should probably do the slave cylinder at the same time.

I wouldn't waste your time with one from a wrecker. Call around and get prices for a new master and slave cylinder. Fieldzy just replaced both on his car not too long ago, he would know the prices.

i got a price of 150 but thats just the clutch master cylinder and not the sleeve that you are saying. what is that sleeve....

so getting from the wreckers is a bad idea?

whats the cheapest way out of this?

he meant SLAVE . it is the little hydraulic piston on the tranny which moves the fork.

I even typed slave, but meh...

Anyways $165 ain't bad to change the clutch master if the part itself is $150. It doesn't get much cheaper than that.

Best to get it over with before you nuke the clutch or tranny from not being able to disengage the clutch properly.

hey mike check the end of your clutch pedal , if it looks like its greases its the slave. You probly have a air leak, do it you self its easy to change theres DIY on team integras about it. I can get it $40 brand new.

i think i paid about 65-70 for a new clutch master cylinder at napa. OEM one is probably around 120-140.
