For Sale Section Posting Rules
Your post MUST include all of the following information:
1)Complete & Thorough Details
- complete details about the item(s) you are selling, including brand, model number, colour, condition, etc. about the item(s) you are selling, including brand, model number, colour, condition, etc.
- Ads containing only a link to a Kijiji, Craigslist ad or any other site of the sort WILL be deleted. Links can be posted but only if all the rules have been followed and requirements have been met. in other words, links cannot be used as a substitute for contact info or description.
- Pictures - Addition of pictures will greatly help with sales.
To post a picture use the F.A.Q. Frequestly asked questions - coding - (Click Here ) and an online image hosting service (i.e. )
2)Pricing
A price for all items listed (except if Free) - no "Testing Waters" type or Auction style threads allowed either. This is not Ebay.
3)Contact Information
A Form of Contact such as an email address and/or phone number. You must be able to contact one another to be able to buy, sell, or trade. (Please note: not everyone that views this forum/board are able to obtain your email by pressing the email icon). "PM me" does not cut it. People's inbox's get full quickly and some neglect to clean out old unwanted pms. This helps both the seller and buyer.
4) Location
Your location (as in CITY not just CANADA) must be present in the post or on under your avatar, that can be added in your profile options.
Do not question these rules as they are obviously very simple to follow.
Commerce Etiquette:
1) Multible Items/Threads
No more than (2) TWO active thread every 14 days in each of the For Sale (FS) & Want to Buy (WTB), forums the board at all times. Re-use and edit threads whenever possible. Therefore only two (2) FS and two (2) WTB
If you have multiple items for sale, please include them in one post!!!
- All offending posts will be removed . Additional Offences to this rule will be deletion of all commerce posts and banning.
2) Replying to posts
Everyone can reply but please limit the questions to Private Message or with the CONTACT INFO provided.
3) Stolen Items & Illegal/black market items
The Proper Authorities may be notified if we suspect that stolen items are being listed for sale.
This also includes:
* No alcohol, tobacco, or weapon sales.
* No multi-level marketing, pyramid, and get-rich schemes allowed.
* No pirated/bootleg/illegal software/video games
4) YES thread crapping ALLOWED -
By mods without warning!. If your price is outrageous some of the members will keep you in check.
The use of Firm after said price (i.e. $20 Firm) indicates - Seller will not budge on price = I want this much money; no more, no less. If you want to test or deal with the seller, please use the Contact Info provided to facilitate transaction(s).
The use is OBO after said price indicates seller may or may not reduce price to meet a common ground of your offer. Again use the Contact Info provided in the seller's post to facilitate transaction(s).
- Please no duplicate posting of your items in other sections.
- Only one thread bump per 24 hours.
- Items for sale must be your own.
Failure to follow these rules will result in thread being locked or deleted.
5)VENDORS - rule -
You must contact the poster via contact method provided. PLEASE DO NOT POST saying you have the item.
6) No Vendor Posts -
You must contact us (moderator names are listed) or the owner Toronto Integras, if you wish to post said items.
If you are a vendor please post all Vendor Items in the Vendor section ONLY.
If they are personal items post then you can use the For sale Section.
NEW: Items will now autolock after 6 months/180 days if there has been no movement in the thread.
Any user that is in constant violation (See: more than once) of the above will have their accounts removed and IP address banned without warning!
This star indicates the information that is usually absent in users for sale posts.
