FS: 89 civic hatchback --- CHEAP!!!
I have a running 1989 civic for sale. (red color)
Located in Scarborough
Email; bccwtc@hotmail.com
The bad (lol):
ok rear and front bumper are there……ill leave that alone
Needs radiator. Has one but it leaks. Less you stick to main roads, highway will eat up the coolant and you will overheat.(less you fill up the reservoir and rad to its limit)
But that’s an easy fix, 40 bucks at your local scrap yard.
Front right (pretty sure it’s the right) main light cover is broken off, but the light still works.
Trunk may open when it chooses (same with closing).
Body has some dents in her. No holes(pretty sure), little rust. Body was actually in very decent condition before the dents and what not.
No radio
The Good:
New break pads all around (one month ago)
New battery
New winter tires (front), rear still has plenty of life.
Clutch was replaced a year ago.
Exhaust work done a year ago.
Tranny shifts fine. No grinds at all.
The car has around 300,000+ km’s.
Its really your straight A to B car (at best). It is drivable and has been so far. Can take it for a test drive. I’m not going to lie, she (body wise) is not the best looking, but I have seen worse fetch the same price, so whatever.
Price……………………. $$$160 and she is yours…..
I am very firm on the price as I would not mind running some…. Lets say , endurance tests on her, keeping the wheels / tires and getting my 50 dollars from standard for leftovers. No parting out. Take it as a whole, or wait your turn @ standard.
Peace……….

LMAo. i didn't, but yes it was in an accident with a certain guard rail. If it was not sold, i was going to run that "endurance test" people did on that second gen rx-7 (its on youtube), where they let it rev till she dies out. See if the 4 banger could give those rotary engines some type of challenge.
