Its an aftermarket thing, you can also tell by the way the box around the shifter is rectangle and not more squared. Im assuming that she just put a shifter boot and an aftermarket shifter, which is why you cant see the PRNDL? This is all based on assumption. lol

She either removed the plastic cover with PRNDL labels or she got the full Type R interior with the manual tranny shifter housing.

I did the exact same thing with my auto shift.... got a fancy **** and a leather boot from the wreckers. Fools lots of people lol... at first

The shift **** is a push down style, so instead of pushing the side **** in to shift, you press on the entire **** now. As for the boot, the plastic console that has the PRND21 was removed and the boot covers it all now.
