its pretty straight forward I always did it by taking my wire, going under the drivers side behind the gas pedal firewall. and pushing it through. then you go under the hood and see where it is to yank it through until you have enough slack to reach the battery. Just make sure you dont have it close to any moving parts.. It should be pretty easy, if your having trouble putting it through use a coat hanger, unbend it and attach the wire to it with a lot of tape and put the coat hanger through the fire wall, that way it will be easier to pull it through on the other side.

bvan thanks for the quick reply bro but i was thinking more like around the lines of passenger side since the batter is there and i know if i try to bring the power from gas pedal side i might screw it up
did it in my prelude but it was much easier...there was a plastic cover on the right corner underneath the dash compartment that came off and there was a hole there

thanks again....i'll def. try that as well....i am trying to find a spot right now with the laptop in the car lol

There's a small rubber plug on the passenger side as well; look in your engine bay on the firewall, and you'll see it... you can either poke a hole through it (recommended) or just pop it out. I've run my wires thru that hole on both my tegs.

Exactly; remove the plug from the engine bay, and it'll be more obvious from the inside.

Shouldn't be glued on; it's normally only a little press-in. Just tug on her, or poke a hole thru it.

It's black, and about the size of a toonie; sounds like you've got it

Hmm... might be a model difference; i didn't have anything behind mine on either my 94 ls, or 95 gsr. Just a clean hole.

I so seriously cringed when I read that. I bet you didn't even use a grommet in the hole when you were done either.

Treat drilling as an absolute last resort, but if you have to, make sure you do it right.

Theres a soft rubber seal on the passenger side usually near the battery depending on your teg. Use an old car antenna or coat hanger to poke a hole, if need be depending on what guage size wire you have may have to take an exacto knife and cut a larger incision into the rubber gaucet. Poke the power wire through, then ground the negative wire to the challis. of the car in the trunk or on a seat belt bolt in the back. Run the remote wire from the aftermarket deck and also the RCA's. If you have a stock deck you need a high-low converter and to attach the remote wire to accessory.

okay so initial plan was to just keep the shi**y sony deck and throw in the subs
but mind changed and grabbed a pioneer avic d3 with navi
had it done two days ago...
i did locate the hole and ran the wire through there
and the rca and power were brought to the trunk through the passenger black plastic cover that holds the carpet and through the right side of the back seat...
loving the setup its amazing and finally everything's pioneer now
