Cleaning Headlights?

Default Cleaning Headlights?

hey guys...
is it possible to shine-up headlight housing? my current housings are faded yellow..
i was told u have to wet sand the clear housing and if so...will i scratch it?

no you won't, all u need is sand paper and plastic polish
u need
2500 grit
2000 grit
1500 grit
1000 grit
and plastix from canadian tire it shouldn't cost u more than 20 bux

i use the meguire's stuff on my 1-pc'ers and it comes out fine

wetsand with those grits if u can get ur hands on a high speed orbital. it'll come out shiny. Trenell has the shiniest headlights i've ever seen ------- HD clear.

hahah thanks...i do have a orbital polisher...do i use it to sand the headlights or polish??

"Wetsand" sandpaper at home depot/home hardware/cdn tire - special sandpaper that you can get wet Kinda like when JayBro fondles Fuzzy.

i just used car polish. made mine look like new. then buffed with orbital sander.
