Default possible slippage??

hey guys im gonna spit my problem. i got a 98 integra rs, got a aem fender wall intake as well and their are no other significant engine modifications done as of today other than headers and exhaust.

so yes i had to drive the teg up until early january as i had no winter beater, now that problem is solved as i bought a beater.
the problem with the teg is over the past 2 months, sparatically, as im driving all ill hear from the engine is the engine revving up higher but im not going anywhere. it only happens while im driving, usually in either 3rd or 4th gear. to get rid of this wierd problem ill usually downshift and itll fix the problem. i dont think its the clutch as it never seems to slip when i have the clutch pressed or right after i change a gear: it only happens about 15-30 sec after the gear change. keep in mind this has only ever happened about 3 or 4 times over these 2 months. i have no clue what this could be other then the fact that my air intake is getting clogged with snow and no air is making it through to the engine...? could this be true, because it only happens in the snow or rain. whenever it "slips" if i rev the engine up harder itll start to grab and go again. i dont get how this could be the clutch though because the clutch is NEVER engaged when this problem happens. it is the stock factory clutch and the fluid is at the proper level.

HELLP!

Go for a drive, going slow throw it into gear thats way too high, putting you around 1200-1500rpm and floor on the gas. If Rpm fly up, you will need a new clutch. Also, you may have a rear main seal leak that's very minor, thus not happening all the time.

Install should be around 250$-300$ and clutch, depends what you get. Another 200$ to 350$ depending on brand and whether its or replacement or performance clutch
