4-Wheel Alignment Issues on my DA
I just got my wheel alignment on my DA after putting on Eibach Sportlines and Koni Yellows giving me a 1.75 inch drop in the front and 1.5 inch drop in the back. I have read almost all the info so i did not plan on putting on a camber kit, just a simple toe adjustment. I also put a ~1/8th inch washer to correct the rear camber some and its actually within spec. I also replaced the sway bar bushings and air pressure is fine. Before i bitch, the ride is great!
So the issue isit was pulling right bad before the alignment and suspension changes. Now it is a tad better but still pulls right, esp. with a little bit of weight in the back seat (4 tires). They never said it would pull at all after alignment. What is your take on these specs? I don't see why it pulls right when my front is 0 toe and the back shouldn't cause it to pull this bad with +0.32 left, could it? They said they couldn't adjust that one cause the bolts are seized (what a pain!). I'm not so sure about thrust angle yet (looking that up now). Did they align this wrong or something?

Camber -2.7, -1.9 (Both OUT at 1 to -1)
Caster 2.0, 1.9 (OK at 0.5 to -2.5)
Toe -0.01, -0.01 (OK at -0.08 to 0.08)
Total Toe -0.02 (OK at -0.16 to 0.16)
Steer Ahead 0.00
REAR
Camber -1.5, -1.5 (OK)
Toe 0.33, 0.05 (Left OUT)
Total Toe 0.38 (OUT at 0.00 to 0.24)
Thrust Angle 0.14

The front camber will still kill your front tires. I do alinements at work pretty much every day. Anything over 1.5 degree of camber is going to kill your tires with in a few months. The only way to kind of help with it, is to set your toe right to the limit of negative toe. It helps scrub the whole tires instead of just the inside of it. I know, because I have -3 degree of camber last year, and my toe set to +.5 in toe, and my tires only lasted me 2 months. Now i still don't have a camber kit on right now, and I'm still running -3 degree of camber, but I have my toe set to -.30, and my tires are still fine after 2 months of driving with brand new tires.
i'm not crazy about the camber, esp. the left one. wish i could have it set like u said before i brought it in.
I'm more concerned due to time constraints with the fact that it runs right even when front is perfectly straight. Do the specs indicate that it will do that from the thrust angle generated by the rear toe? if so i'll leave it alone and not call them back. What do u think?

No the back will only make it dog track, which means the *** of the car will be to the right a little insted of going straight. But from I see, the caster on the right is - and on the left it's +. That will make the car pull to the right. because the left strut is more forward facing, as to how the right strut is more rear facing.
0.1 difference will do that? Wouldn't the pull to the left by the rear toe result in me correcting to the left since i have to correct for the rotation of the car (i'm looking at my hand and my thumb pulling the car in a 2D plane)? Would the camber pull me to one side too? Either way should I try to fix the toe though once i can unseize those bolts they were talking about and it might possibly correct it?

the numbers on the left are after they fixed in, not the number in the brackets. .1 will not, and the only way camber will make a car pull to one side is, lets say the left tire is -1 degree of camber and the right tire is +.5 of a degree. That will make the car pull to the right, and both wheels are facing towards the right, and that will make the car go that way.
Yes that camber you have at 2.7 left and 1.5 right, will make it pull to the right.
