Default New Racing Seats

I want to put racing seats in my soon to be bought Integra 2001 model. Was looking at this site: http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Acu.../Racing-Seats/ and am loving the back seats and the front ones. Unsure as to which ones I should get. Want something comfortable yet very sporty. Budget caps at about 1200 for everything. Any help?

My vote is to do the JDM recaros in front and the JDM rear seats. They match, the rears cost next to nothing, and Recaros are IMHO the most comfortable streetable racing seat money can buy. If you've never seen or sat in a set, i encourage you to come out to the next meet and have a seat in my teg. You'll immediately see why.

Best of luck

Check out our Meet Section.

I too would say Type R seats. I have USDM Type R's and they hug you nice, but I would def look into Recaros they are better in "cupage"

Ill say this. Stay away from Replica seats. There is a reason why "Brand Name" Seats cost so much. They are legit, and tested hundreds of times for Safety reasons. Replica Recaro or Replica Bride or Replica Sparco or Yonaka will be horrible. Horrible quality, you'll feel the cheapness, and in if you get in an accident the replica seats will act horrible in it. Theres youtube videos to prove that.

OEM JDM DC2 Recaros are great. They feel/look amazing, bolsters and stuff are replaceable, quality is superb, and its OEM YO!

Come out to the next meet, I'll be there and will show you.

Agreed on Vida's comment. Replicas are merely replicas, much in the same way a kit car Lamborghini is not a Lamborghini. Nothing of the same quality, not even close, and they feel like garbage most of the time. I won't say all because I have seen some good feeling off-brand seats out there, but unfortunately the R&D that goes into making a seat safe for the occupants isn't there on the replicas.

Hope that helps somewhat.
