Hey guys, I don't know why but after work today, there was a whole bunch of grease coming out from the lid of the trunk/hatch, it travelled down to the part where u stick ur hand in the hole to open the trunk. I noticed that it was leaking from the holes underneath the hatch, is this weird? Couldn't google anything on it.

when its fresh its like pale yellow coloured and after a while I think its just black cuz I wiped it off when i washed my car once. Theres just soo much at once!

 

Hmmm I really don't know. Have you tried to trace it back to the source? Maybe try and match it with some other fluids to see if you can find a match. Good luck.

 

have you got the car rust proofed this winter, could be the oil they use.

 

From inside the trunk lid? Yea the car was previously rust proofed, only the bottom tho.

 

They rust proofed inside the trunk aswell. My trunk on my civic was the same way, I spend about 1 hour on Monday cleaning all that crap off of the trunk.
