Default install digital oil pressure gauge

ok i bought these ignited MTR gauges but im having some trouble trying to figure out how to install the oil pressure sensor

ive tried researching and im getting different ideas but i dont know which one is the best

either tap the hole into the block (which id rather aviod)
get this sandwich oil filter adapter
or use the stock oil pressure sensor and just tap into the wire

im not sure which is the right one to do or better yet if there is a better way

someone help!

OK,

You kinda have no choice here. The sensor has to go where your present oil switch is. (and its at the worst spot at the back of the block above your intermediate shaft but below the oil filter.

Depending on the oil sensor thread... (I think its 10mm) you may just may be able to thread in your oil sender as long as its a fine thread 1/8" fitting. The threads are almost identical.

I would however like others to post their experience here as I am about to do this as well.

You would be smart to leave the oil switch you now have in place as well. To do this you would run a "T" fitting with the oil sensor (or sending unit) as well as the switch on it.

This was you get a functional guage AND an oil warning light in the dash!
