Default F20C in a BMW?

Like Amanda said they are putting this engine in everything these days, sounds good imo, the way a bimmer should go.....

What a waste! The Eurospec motor for that car made 321 HP, that would be the swap, even the S54 from the E46 M3 with its 8000 redline and more power/torque than the F20C fits in there.

So stupid, the s2k is just as slow as a teg so I have no idea why a person would downgrade.

Actually for a Vtec/Honda crazy country like japan it makes perfect sense. And remeber that is a 318i which came with a 4 cylinder 140hp motor stock I beleive, and its about the same weight as an S2000, so actually putting an F20C in there is a huge upgrade, and probably alot cheaper and sourcing a BMW Inline 6.

i'm gonna go out on a limb but if japan is honda vtec crazy, by supply and demand logic, i'd just assume the f20 would cost more than even an e36 328 motor.

i'm sure if you factor in the custom fab work required for the f swap, it'll put it over the top.

i didn't watch the whole video.. did it show somewhere that it was a 318?

+1 and even a e36 325 w/supercharger would be better OBVIOUSLY!
