Whitby, Ontario - BMW Group Canada has announced that the BMW 1 Series Coupe will debut in Canada in 2008. The company will launch the 128i and 135i Coupes in the premium compact segment in Canada; the model range has been available in Europe and other global markets since 2004.
The 128i Coupe will use BMW's latest-generation 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine, generating 200 hp and 200 lb-ft of torque, also used in the 3 and 5 Series models. The 135i Coupe will use BMW's new twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder, which produces 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. In European specification, the 135i Coupe accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. Both cars will use a six-speed manual transmission, or optional six-speed automatic with Steptronic manual mode.
Canadian availability is scheduled for the first half of 2008, with pricing available closer to the market launch

Looks like they've stepped their game up with this 1 series. I'm somewhat impressed with some of the new BMW's which is rare for me, I'm a BMW hater
But i did see a bone stock 2007 335 run a 13.4 at cayuga a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure what they're expected to run, but i was impressed with that.
BMW suks the more expensive they get the shittire the product, i know, my boss has a 760 LI Individual and the thing is in the shop more than out, that why were gettin the new Lexus 600LIh, now thats a car
I am going to have to check this car out once it is released, if the twin turbo'd 3.0L version isn't too costly and the new evo sucks donkey ***** once its actually out, this may be my next car.
