Default Shot Peening

Does anyone know a shop that shot peens rods? I called Graham @ Canadian cylinder head. But that's all the machine shops I know about. If any of you guys have gotten your rods peened, lemme know. oh and another thing how much do they usually charge to do that?

Any help would be much appreciated

Justin

there's another process that can be done to connecting rods that strenghens them. what they do is grind off the casting seam and polish the the sides of the rod eliminating the weak point.

yeah.... that's the technique that Graham does. I just not sure which would be better to give more rigidity. but thanks for your response. I try and get some info on it.
