You can use it dry, or dampen the cloth for mopping applications.

Joking aside,
this actually works really well, picks up hair, even sunflower seed shells.
If you had a pet, it would pick up all the dog or cat hair.
You can use a floor cleaning product and just dampen it slightly, works like a mop, even cleans up crayon or shoe scuff marks.
Throw it in the washing machine and voila reusable.
I actually use this cloth often, for dusting, cleaning windows.
I do the shaving foam on the bathroom mirror for a fog free mirror.

i'm with chris on this you can re-use it... what ever happened to the three R's swiffer came out and it's all ok to just keep throwing it in the trash? bunch of ---- i say. I've never bought a swiffer and never will due to that.
