Quck question on d/b series compatability

Just looking for a quick answer, will a D series alternator be compatable with a B series motor, or are they uncompatable?

i believe the amp output is different. the d's are around 60 and the b's are 70. you could always give it a shot though, i don't imagine it would harm anything.
