Default 98+ JDM Tails

Hey guy, I had a crack in one of my tail lights, so I decided to go with some 98 spec JDM tail lights. They are the same as the 98+ USDM tails, but the JDM ones have an amber turn signal instead of all red. This picture is the new JDM tail on the right, and the old 94-97 USDM Tails on the left.

Then this is both the new ones in.

I went with the JDM ones cause I want to keep all the turn signals the same color. I think its easier to see the difference between the two in person.

You got ripped off.

you could have saved some $. You can easily do that by taking apart the tail lights and spray painting the inside silver or white. engsr and I did that 2 summers ago.

^^ It's the corner reflector that the jDm tail doesn't have, you bird. Remember you took yours out??

I edited my post. Roy boy.

basically the side reflector is removed on the JDM 97-00 tail lights and not the rear reflector.

They look like every other pair of 98+ spec JDM tail lights, and they don't have a side marker light, they look pretty real to me.

^^ They probably are. How much did you pay for them anyway, out of curiousity?

I wouldn't do it again - I cracked my right one and Glenn cracked both. The lens is pretty thin - look at my pic - the lens is all warped.

Either way, it looks good on your car, royboy. Good stuff.

They were $150 shipped from the states, so I'll be pissed if they aren't real

Nicely done Roy. I've been bugging the ---- out of Fuzzy and Glenn to lend me a hand in "making" my 98+ jdm tails, since my oven is too small.

I swear it's been like a year now...JEEz
