Hi guy's I need some help here. My car hasn't been driven fro about 1 year, due to a car accident. Anyway's it's almost done at the paint booth and ready to come back home. Now I wanna drive the car home from the body shop. What's the chances of the car starting up and being able to drive home. I have a 1990 ls integra with a swapped b17a1 motor wit a p28 vtec ecu with a mugen chip. IM wondering if there is anything i need to do, if the car doesn't start like a general tuneup. Im going to drain the old gas out of the gas tank and put in new gas. I got new sparkplugs installed well last yr B4 i took car off the road i got a new fuel filter, and sparkplugs. So will those be fine? Is there anything I need to do.?

Also my break pedal goes rite down to the floor i replaced the master cylinder in april then the brakes worked fine. Then in July same problem i had no brakes. So could it be i have a brake line leak, or is there air in my brake lines from sitting for like 3 months what could of happened? im confused i dont think a brake line is leaking. What could it be? brakes were fine 3 months b4 then all of a sudden i got no brakes. When the master cylinder went it was because the car was sitting and condenstation got in there and blew the rubber ring. Anyways try to help me out guys.

 

another questions my engine was throwing codes b4 when i started it about 5 months ago. Anyways the engine lite would come on, and the car wud idle really low, i would have to rev the car to make the car stay running. and im wondering is there a code thats throws when your car sits for long period of time. Cuz my engine lite is coming on. Also it would take a while to start my car, sometimes it started nice sometimes it didnt want to start. Is this because it's been sitting for so long.
my timing belt is off the cam gear's abit, and my dizzy is timed way too much, so i have to get that fixed and I know thats a reason why my car isnt running properly. Could that be why my car isnt startin good?>

 

So you spent $X,XXX (maybe more as you claim) amount on COSMETIC mods for your G2 Integra and you're not even sure about it RUNNING @ all?

Your battery is probably gone. Maybe you'll be ok with gas. Plugs should be fine. If gas has broken down/gelled you might have a few problems and need a new fuel filter. I would check out the brakes, thats not normal.
