Default Shannonville May-23-2006

Here's a little vid I made from my my first trip out to the track this year. There are a couple more seconds to be picked up for sure but overall not a terrible lap.

Thanks Ryan for hooking me up with the Toronto Miata crowd who know how to hold an event.

Np Doug! Saw you out there a lot, but I don't think I saw anyone (other than the Viper) pass you.

Looking at the data, seems like you were a fair bit faster than most of us. A 76s lap is pretty damn good. I think I've run 79s in the past, but I'm severly tire-limited right now (185 Yoks don't cut it!)

Hay Ryan... any pics been posted of the event?

Canttx: The car feels very strong and is likeing the tires and brakes I chose to run this year. The car was pushing a little but I set it up that way because it was my first day out. I will likely shift the balance to mild oversteer on my 2nd day at the Expo.

Nope... you can bring any car that is running properly to the track for $100-$150 depending on whose hosting the event. I could spend half that in about an hour go-karting...
