i hear a lot of good things about carnuba wax (sp?), i might try it this summer.

oh, check this porter cable write-up: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-pc7424.html

dunno if you're planning on using an orbital, but the results speak for themselves.

THE best wax. meguiars next generation. 30 bucks a bottle. if u got money to spend and you want the best otherwise go for the gold class 20 bucks. those are "waxes" so theyre sealers. since your doin the clay bar sounds like you serious so you mgiht wonna do the step 1 and 2 frist then seal it with nxt gen or gold class. i just use gold class by itself. did it when it was warm along time ago. put the gloss back in from winter and get dirt from stickign and just waxed it a cpl days ago i think sunday. nice and shiny

It really depends what your after. I don't like using wax on my car for a couple reasons.

(A.) if it is a good quality wax it will contain a high Carnauba content. This gives you a nice shine, however, it is hard to apply and doesn't last very long.
(B.) The cost of a quality wax per quantity is generally higher then man made sealants / polishes.

I like to use a sealant because for the most part they are much easier to apply, not to mention they last much, much longer.

I have tried a ton of different waxes, polishes and sealants - (Zaino, Car Brite (Professional Series Products design for car detailers), P21S, Blitz Wax, PPizazz wax, Klasse Sealant Glaze, Zymol, etc, etc)

I can tell you, my experience has been that Zaino offers the best bang for the buck, the shine is unbelievable, very easy to apply and lasts forever (if done correctly) A close second would be Klasse Sealant Glaze however its more $$$ and much harder to find here in Canada.

I know this is a fairly old link but take a look, NSX review of various wax/polish/sealants including Zaino.
