Hey Doug, when you first started to oversteer, you corrected too slowly. Then when you realized that you were going off for sure, did you try to straighten your wheel? Whats the instruction for off course? I thought it was 2 feet in, and wheel straight?

LOL! That off track excursion caught me completely off guard. I was on my out lap on my first session of the day, with very cold tires on a very cold day. Tire pressures were set with rear bias to allow for increased pressure changes in the front (as they warm up). I was going no more then 50km/h around that corner (which is usually taken in access of 120km/h) when the rear end just snapped around. Both feet were on the floor when I went off (as they should be) and I left the steering wheel alone as it was basically useless anyway.

Awesome vid, I'd love to see it without the music and just the roar or the Rrrrr!. Was that vette goin hard? I'm not understanding how you kept up with him... or were you just taking him around the corners?

Thanks! its fairly easy to understand why I not only kept up with him but also why he was holding me up. I was faster! In a straight line I couldn't do much but he had more then he could handle when we were in the corners.
