Glue on Windshhield!

i had vinyls on my windshield and rear hatch for different affiliates of mine. i decided to take them all off...for a much cleaner look to my teg. not lookin like an advertisement board. any how when it took them off the outline of the vinyl is still there and its a glue outline. you cant take it out with water. so what sould i use to clean it. it is really irritating and i NEED it CLEAN, ASAP. thanks for the help

I'm affraid of the same thing happening with my car so I've left mine on. 1 product that may help is 'goo gone'. It works great for removing tags/stickers/etc. from various surfaces.

If its on your glass try windex, good gone, varsol will work or even oven cleaner. Dont let anything touch your paint. (goo gone can though)

i tried windex...the real one but no luck. ill try oven cleaner or even paint thinner? i dont want to buy anything to clean it. thanks guys

goo gone is your friend when it comes to glue/sticky paste

how much does this goo gone stuff cost? im sure its at a local crappy tire?

a mild paint thinner will work for sure, but u cannot let it touch ur paint

canadian tire and home depot has it

he sed he tried varsol but it didnt work. maybe u used somethin else it should of worked. try rubbing alcohol. that works for tint glue. if that dont work just buy the stuff

goo gone is the best...also a damp cloth in gas(petrol) will do the job!

i tried rubbing alchohol...didnt work...lol tried nail polish remover. didnt work. i cant find paint thinner around my house...ill drop by crappy tire tomorrow. thanks guys
