i lowered my 96 gsr with koni yellow + HR sport. it has some camber, but don't know how much off.

Question #1. It dropped about 2 inches on the driver side and about 1.75" on the passenger side. what happened?

Q #2. i'm running 17" wheels. whenever i goes over lets say 120, i felt only 3/4 of the tire is on the road. this do not happen to my 15". Why?

also looking for front and rear camber kit. what are u guys using?

Check the perch settings, and the perches themselves if they are installed the correct way. Also check that the springs are not sagged (I doubt that's it, though).

Do the 15 better fit without held on?

Oh, the other thing I forgot to mention - are the springs on their proper end? In other words, are the front springs on the two front shocks and same with the reverse? The reason I say this is that the H&R springs are all progressive and whoever installed them may have put them on the wrong corner.

 

yesterday, I removed the wheel and check it out. it is NOT unside down, and it is a front spring. maybe have to increase the perch by 1 up. and i found my aligment sheet from last year.
Front camber: LEFT- HONDA spec: -1.16 ----- 0.84 (my car -1.75 degree)
RIGHT -HONDA spec: -1.16 ---- 0.84 (my car -2.19 degree)

Rear camber: Left honda -2.00 ------------ my car -1.34 degree
right honda -2.00 ------------ -1.52 degree

DO I NEED A CAMBER KIT? if yes, where can i get a set for good price? ty

 

Hmm, I still think that the perches may be upside down, but I'd have to see it. Even if it is, it's not that hard to flip. Is the ride height even on both sides of the front or is the right side lower? You said above that the driver's side is lower - that should give you more negative camber on that side, not the passenger side according to your alignment. If the shocks are assembled properly at the same perch heights, then it may be your knuckle that's bent - either driver or passenger side. Honestly, I think I'd have to see your car to figure out what's wrong with it.

As far as the camber kit is concerned, for your specs, I would say no. My Integra's camber was very similar to yours and I never had one, nor felt the need for one. The thing is, something has to be responsible for that difference in the front camber (it won't be the same, obviously, but it should be close). Since the camber is off, then I can only assume that something is bent (knuckle, LCA, UCA, etc.). However, if nothing else is bent and your suspension is "perfect" then I would get a front kit only to correct the difference - ie. put a kit of the passenger side to get it closer to 1.75 degrees. You don't need the kit to put it back to OEM specs - the little bit of -ve camber that you have will actually help with the contact patch of your tires.

As far as I can tell from your diagram it looks like the fronts are on upside down. The perch is suppost to sit "cup down". If I had my instructions, I'd scan it in, but Fuzzy has them. I'm almost certain that you have the perch upside down - about 95% certain. I know that I had the perch "cup down" when I did mine as well as BHG's and Fuzzy's.

Another thing you might take a look for is if anyone else who has non-adjustable (ride height) struts on their teg, has similar height differences. Stock height it is hard to notice, but with ITR springs on, I noticed the same "problem" you are noticing. I took a look on the "evil" team-integra site, and there is a thread of many people responding that they also have this "problem"

Anyone with ride-height adjustables will of course be able to compensate.

If anyone doesn't believe, stick your hand sideways between the rubber and fender on both sides (a ruler would work too :-) and check it out...

Not to sure about your springs but your rotor looks like BBQ.

 

it could be because of the way the spring is seated.. but from the pics you show us, it looks fine...... and it looks like you're sitting on the middle perch on both left and right... hmmm...... you know, i had this problem also after lowering my car and i had to let it settle in.. after about 2-3 weeks, the bushings set and everything evened out.

 

Hmm, it looks like it's assembled correctly. I can't see any problems with the assembly itself - I can only think it's the control arms or knuckle.

I didn't have this problem with my Konis on my Teg, though. Mine was even on both sides.
