^ yup. We're even in those soccer video games like Fifa '98 (last one I played) for N64. The fastest guy on the team was slower than the slowest guy on the Brazilian team.

If anyone who actually posted here actually followed the sport, they know that Italy and Portugal have very strong teams (Cristiano Ronaldo is have a great year in the Premiership), with new players, new coaches, new formations, new strategies. Both teams have been destroying the competition the past 5 games. i.e Italy's thrashing of Germany last week 4-1 and then 3-1 AT Holland the month before.

Holland = going nowhere and have been on the decline for years.
England = overrated and will be out by the round of 16 as always. They are a team of individuals. Weak on Defence and weak in goal.
France = Even a short return from Zidane won't help. The do not have the depth in there system.

Look out for Ivory Cost. Drogba is the go to guy, is very hard to stop and rarely misses.
Spain can also do some damage. The are packed with talent
Look out for Argentina. Always strong. There development is stong and they will always be hard to beat.
Look out for Italy, Portugal, Brazil, Czech Rep., even Japan is very strong.

Before people say, this team is gonna win and that team is gonna come back to form, do some research and actually learn about the team and who and how they stack up against the rest. Then try to make an unbiased post.

lol.. wtf... this isn't espn. people are rooting for their favourite teams because well.. it's their favourite teams... just like GO LEAFS GO!!! we all know they don't stand a goddamn chance but people still root for them.

besides, we all know what happens in soccer with upsets and all that..... how it's a "conspiracy" how italy got knocked out of the last euro.. lmao....

root for who you want to root for.. who gives a flying ---- about what team has who because ---- happens and the underdogs can make it far... as we saw in the last WC. =P

Relax there champ, people are stating who they are cheering for, not who they think is going to win.

Holland may not be the best team but they have moved up 13 spots on the fifarankings to #8 in the world (yes I realize fifa rankings mean nothing but still)

Although teams can be upset in World Cup play due the circumstances of the point system as well as sudden death. However, certain teams will always be in the running for the cup and certain teams will not be.

FIFA Seeding

1 Brazil
2 England
3 Spain
4 Germany
5 Mexico
6 France
7 Argentina
8 Italy

Italy does have a good team but they will need a great team to win the and I think fricken Brazil will have something to say about it.
