usually when i see these belts. there are no rear seats. and also it looks like there isnt anything keeping it from flying off the two shoulder sides.

usually its only on these style seats.

i'm not a pro but shouldn't there be a cage to go along with that? then a horizontal bar shoulder height to attach the seat belt to...

jugtoor Jun 27, 2008 01:38 PM

mmm that corvette is definetly gonna be my next purchase.

FuzzyLS BRO Jun 27, 2008 03:18 PM

ok, he could have ATLEAST put them thru the middle headrest bars, however he shoulden't be running harnesses on a stock seat, they are made to collapse in the event of a crash/rollover, so harnesses arn't the best thing to use on a stock seat (i should know, i've used them myself on a stock seat. A bucket is more of a wiser option to use harnesses with, however they should be used with a cage/harness bar.

Whats wrong with Spoon calipers and steel braided lines. I'm not being sarcastic, I would really like to know.

nautica_t YO Jun 28, 2008 12:30 PM

i don't get that either? i'd really like to know yoru comment on the spoon calipers and stainless steal lines and the ebc pads?

or are you referring to the baller parts and than put wal mart tires?

Scotty2H Jun 28, 2008 12:31 PM

I wondered the same thing, especially after I just put Motul fluids everywhere! however I think he was referring to upgrading all the stopping power on the car and then riding on 49.99 Walmart special tires, which ultimately limit how all your brake upgrades will work.

SMOOTHE Jun 28, 2008 12:41 PM

with the spoon calipers and upgraded pads, my R stopped better than the S2k

There is only one solution to this. Spoon Calipers on the s2k.

Smartass pHO Jun 28, 2008 06:00 PM

Everyone knows an RS can outbrake a Type-R.....

knd4yrii Jun 28, 2008 06:12 PM

Nothing wrong with Spoon Calipers,Motul or Elf fluids,or high end brake pads....my point was why put all the best and have ---- tires to be the last part of your brake system! tires count as well....just like 4 or 5 point harnesses...why have em if you don't put them in properly..waste of money and a risky situation just waiting to happen..sorry for being vague! Scotty2H understood.

Bates Jun 30, 2008 04:02 AM

I feel weird when I wear them type of seat belts.

-Azarro- Jun 30, 2008 08:38 AM

yea deathtrap for sure...

Buff4Prez Yo Jun 30, 2008 05:34 PM

can someone explain what's wrong in that pic? I don't see it. the top point is mounted to the top point of the rear belt, so we know it's strong and it's not on an angle that it would cause spinal compression in the event of an accident.
