i hate hit and runs!

that sucks man, i feel your pain.

This happen to my buddies 06 civic, had it only a couple of months, and hit in an underground parking at his work.

ednyboo 04-18-2007 11:59 AM

looks like 400 bucks damage to mee,, its not too bad.
just push the bumper out by force and try to clip the bumper back on..
and it wont looks as bad as now..
good luck fixing it..

Twn Tz 04-18-2007 12:06 PM

Thank god, its not "400"bucks...im happy the insurance adjuster has quoted 1,200-1,500...

Ill update you Anand...READ SIG ;)

Idiots are all over the place. One of them scuffed the rear bumper on the CSX that I am driving. The car only had 3500km at that time.

JDMcb7 04-18-2007 01:53 PM

it honestly donest look that bad! i honestly think you can just pop the bumper out and get a body shop to spot paint the bumper

MALIKPHD 04-18-2007 02:14 PM

sucks that you have to pay a deductible. Should have took it to the "right" shop and let them "take care" of it first...always good to know body shop guys who dislike insurance companies.

that ---- just happened to my sister...---- btown drivers

WildoutWhiteGSR 04-18-2007 07:32 PM

use a heat gun and and push it out from the inside, it's still gonna be an eye sore though

marty18 04-18-2007 08:49 PM

Ouch. That third pic really showed the damage. It's never happened to me before (*knock on wood*) but I'm pretty sure I'll be considerably pissed if someone did that to me. It's especially worse since it's a new van!

nautica_t YO 04-18-2007 09:06 PM

damn thats facked, i feel your pain. trust me.

Tommy,
Van is on lease...and i don't want to risk it..might aswell get it fixed at honda...if insurance is covering it..why not..plus its not affecting my insurance policy, cause it was a hit and run...and im not at fault..plus i have multiple accident forgiveness, on the policy.

ORLY? nnnice what insruance company are you with?

STRTLGL 04-19-2007 06:21 PM

Probably a group insurance. They usually get good deals.

Twn Tz 04-20-2007 09:39 AM

Tommy,
Im with Johnson Insurance...great company!...http://www.johnson.ca/

Never had problems with them, and service is exceptional...the rates are unbelievable.

My family was with allstate for 20+years..and the rates never came down..in the last 5yrs...always up...I was paying $240/month on my accord a few years back...then with my S4..I was payin $220/month...switched over to Johnson...and started at $169/month. This year i'm at $127/month. can't complain.
