Tranny problems... what do you guys think?
 

I've been having some problems with a used tranny I picked up for my car. I've made a video which shows the problem. I want some opinions before I remove it from the car...

Oh... at the end theres a small clip showing the engine idling around 950RPM.

hmmm.....

Sounds like it could be worn or damaged input shaft bearings.
I couldn't really tell if there was a knocking sound, but if there is, look for broken parts such as chipped or broken teeth.

hey Doug,
that sounds almost exactly how mine is. people have told me its the input shaft bearing ^like above. looks like you have to drop the tranny unfortunately. here is some useful links i found to maybe help diagnose the problem for yourself.

edit: I also tried changing my tranny fluid, i used the older honda mtf and no change.

Doug, it could either be ur input shaft bearing and/or thrust bearing. my car makes a similar noise but mine is very subtle and this is what acura told me. Im waiting to do the clutch to fix it
