You need some more USM, pics aren't sharp

what's usm?

DJINFERNO806 05-26-2008 02:52 PM

^ its an ultra sonic motor for ppl with canon autofocus lenses. It focuses quicker and sharper than non usm ones basically...

FuzzyLS BRO 05-26-2008 03:18 PM

OH. i need to pick up some ballHar bluedragon lenses.

Blue Dragon 05-26-2008 05:05 PM

DJINFERNO806 05-26-2008 05:06 PM

you can see it in the head of the bird it's sharper. is this something you do to all the pics? or just the ones that are slightly blurry?

Hence the reason why I haven't sent you any pics. Post processing takes too much of my time. I rather be outside enjoying the weather then be inside working RAWs into JPEGs.

Just keep taking shots Fuzz. The more you do it the more it comes natural no matter what you are shooting. If you are consistent at taking photos there should not be any reason to post process your shots as much. :yeah:

Blue Dragon 05-28-2008 09:24 AM

^^ Not quite true, most canon DSLRs with consumer lenses will need USM PP'ing. If you're shooting with a 1D body with a 300 f2.8 or a 200 f1.8, most likely you won't.
