thats a way of saving money. im sure they have proper secure chains and ---- on the car. but it is actually a smart way of shipping.

looks like they drive it up on thos skids using a ramp and then chain it and take the skids out.could be wrong

There is another way to ship cars its called Ro-Ro. Costs more, but its well worth it.
