To be honest, I've never seen an article in the news talking about sprinklers saving lives lol but I'll sure as hell bet working in triage saves alot more lives then any sprinkler system has no offense.

Installed fire sprinklers don't save lives, they are usually in commercial buildings where people DON'T LIVE THERE meaning they don't sleep there so they would have be able to run if there was a fire. If anything the sprinkler would save the building but by then fire fighters would be on scene.

WHY you think firefighters want sprinkler systems and have fire prevention officers go around and make sure everything is by code. BECAUSE 1 sprinkller head can prevent a fire or prevent it from breaking out to a disaster which could leave other peoples lives or themselves in jepordy. BUT we wouldn't want that to happen would we? just imagine one of your family members in a building with no sprinkler system and it blows up in flames.

I grew up in that area, and Im probably moving back soon. And you know what? Its comments like this that makes it embarassing to say that I come from that area. To people that live in the "big city", it is a hick country. Grimbsby has what, 2 Tim Hortons, a beer store, lcbo, a Canadian Tire, Mc. Ranchys and thats it. I admit its hick compared to the city but I dont take offence to it. You need to relax!!!!

People that grew up in TO, or any big city had a completely different lifestyle then people that grew in the Niagara Region (hick country). Hell, Im proud of it. Personally I dont think I could stand living in such a big city like TO. I'm too used to the small town life and I am already sick of Hamilton (only been a year) and moving back to the area I grew up. BUT Im not about to bash/bad talk/critasize city folk either. If I grew up there it would be normal for me. It would be me that makes fun of the hicks that drive around with there dog in the back of a pick-up, shot gun behind the seat, and the country tunes blaring. And for the record, no one in the Niagara area is like that lol.
