New Member some pics of my car
Hey all,
Been a member here for a while figured I'd finally post some pics of my car.
Swap was done a little over a year ago just before Vince's delsol was done.
Car was built and tuned by my good buddy Dave from Defcon-Racing. Made 245whp and 184wtrq and runs consistant mid 12's on the motor in the 1/4 mile and this spring will be an 11 second car.
1999 Integra GS-R
JDM K20A(ITR) motor and tranny
DTR/SSR stainless steel 4-2-1 race header
2.5" mandrel bent stainless exhaust magnaflow straight through muffler
Defcon-Racing custom 3" CAI with velocity stack
Competition Clutch stage 4 six puck sprung clutch with 9lbs flywheel
Hondata Intake manifold Gasket
K-Pro
RC 550cc injectors
Hybrid Racing Mounts(race version) and PNP harness
All the little odds and ends needed to make the K-Swap work(Fuel Rail,Stainless fuel lines,Karcepts shifter kit, aluminum rad and slim fan ETC ETC)
Suspension
Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers custom Spring rates 12k rear 10k front
A-Spec racing Subframe reinforcement brace
JDM ITR rear swap bar
Spoon front and rear strut tower bars
ETC ETC
Bunch of other mods I probably forgot lol

Car is not my daily driver. I do drive it once in a while on the road. I have another car for Daily driver duties.

Yah there is a bunch of video's floating around. One of my other buddies made alot of them. The car will be racing Ontario Solo Sprints this year as well, as that's what the car is mainly set up for, so it'll be around.

Well she told me her real name which was asian can't remember it though..The other name is like a stage name. Not many import models use their real names.
Yah H-T had some things to say about it. LOL not that anyone really cares though regardless of what some people might think, H-T is not the be all and end all and I rarely go on that site anyways. Like we said then, alot of the guys that were out, had never been on a track before. Trust me I've been to many lapping days that had WAAAAAY worse and more dangerous stuff going on.

Thanks man, I was supposed to come out to a meet last year with Vince and his Delsol but something came up and I couldn't make it. Maybe I'll see you guys around this year sometime.

As for video's if you go to google video or youtube and type in defcon-racing there are a few video's. One is an in car video of me at shannonville on the fabi circuit and another compilation video with the first time I went to the dragstip with it. Didn't do to well on my first time out trying to learn the car, ran a 13.1@107.19(camera is very blurry though) with major wheel hop letting off in first and short shifting to second gear and no power shifting. The next 2 times I went to the track I got more used to it and started hitting consistant mid-high 12's.
There's also a video at SCP in March of 2006 the first show it was at and one of the first time it was started up. Dave is telling my boy Jamie(who's in the car) to crank it as I wasn't there, I was at work the first time it was started lol
Plan on getting some good video's this spring the car will be capable of 11's now let's see if I can drive it to those times

Yah I was impressed with the motor when I ran mid 12's in an Integra GSR. I mean the car is pretty much full weight, just some minor weight reduction like sound deadning and the weight difference from the USDM front end and JDM Front end but everything else is the same.
I just ordered a Carbon Fiber hood and rear hatch so hopefully that'll shave some poundage. :eek3dance

Man the defcon racing booth at importfest made the show worth going to..I loved your car there, and did not want to leave this booth lol although the model didn't help in allowing me to move on to the next booth either. Great teg though man, and that vid of you racing the vette on youtube is sweet too.
